He has successfully represented various companies in the maritime, oil and gas, banking, insurance, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical sectors in various courts in Nigeria. He has also handled several cases arising from labour and industrial disputes on behalf of companies and individuals. Kelechi is adept at formulating effective strategy for case management and proficient in the use of alternative dispute resolution processes and procedures. He has personally been involved in several arbitrations, mediation and conciliation cutting across various areas of law. He has also been involved in many commercial transactions, particularly in the oil and gas, banking and telecommunication sectors. Kelechi has also been personally involved in drafting and prosecution of election petitions before election tribunals up to the appellate court level, and has won a number of such cases.

Kelechi began his legal career in the full litigation law firm of Oluwole Kehinde & Co, (now OKC Attorneys) and also worked in the Corporate and Commercial law firm of Messrs Royal Heritage in Ikoyi, Lagos before founding Kelechi Adiele & Co. He is currently the Senior Editor of Nigerian Labour Law Reports (NLLR) published by Rocheba Publishers; Assistant Editor of the “Digest of Judgments of the National Industrial Court 1978-2006” Edited by Oluwole Kehinde Esq., and the Index thereto; and also Assistant Editor of the “Digest of Labour and Employment cases in Nigeria (1960-2012)” published for the National Industrial Court of Nigeria by Oluwole Kehinde & Co.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikeja Branch.
