Kelechi Adiele & Co. is proficient in negotiation and drafting of all contractual documentation for all aspects of aircrafts or vessels and their contents, such as the finance (sale and purchase), construction, carriage, insurance and employment contracts.

The Firm also handles aircraft and ship registration and advises clients on compliance with laws, regulations and international best practices affecting, directly and indirectly, the international and domestic operations of aircraft and ships within territorial air-space or waters. In this regard, the Firm advises clients on their rights and obligations under the Merchant Shipping Act, Marine Insurance Act, Carriage of Goods Act, United Nations Convention on Carriage of Goods by Sea (Enforcement and Ratification) Act; as well as the appropriate procedure for maritime claims under the Admiralty Jurisdiction Act.

Clients are also advised on their rights and obligations under the Civil Aviation (Repeal and Re-enactment) Act, and under the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority Regulations which addresses issues such as aircraft registration and marking, consumer protection, personnel licensing, airworthiness, etc.
